Former Mazabuka Central MP Gary Nkombo will be filing his nomination papers at the Civic Centre today 20th May 2026 at 09:00 hours as an Independent candidate for the Mazabuka Central parliamentary seat.
All his supporters and well-wishers are requested to come in large numbers to witness the event.

Garry should calm down.!! We know the war that blue Mainza Chona and Nkumbula. Each thought he is more wealth than the other.

In marriage and in politics, frustrations are there but what is important is tolerance, otherwise without tolerance you can’t last. Gary is a long time friend of HH, they built UPND together, they stood and fell together until the time they formed government. So these are people who can meet and sit down together, iron it out, reconcile and forget about the past. Politics should unite us rather than dividing us. We are brothers, we are one people.
I support his move, people like him should not leave themselves to go to waste, he still has a lot of potential. I am very optimistic that he will carry the day.
Yeah @ CITIZEN … Me I would have voted for HIM just for sympathy. He really pushed UPND to where it is today. Garry really fought he DESERVES RESPECT!!
