GBM’S WIFE, CHILDREN ACCUSED OF SHARING K20 MILLION WHILE HE WAS UNWELL.
Fresh allegations have emerged concerning the reported marital problems between businessman and former Defence Minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, popularly known as GBM, and his wife.
The allegations surfaced following a Facebook post by former GBM associate Barbrah Musamba Chama, who revealed that someone had approached her with claims that the businessman had separated from his wife over another woman.
Ms. Chama said she was surprised by the information, considering that she had previously been close to the couple and had publicly praised their marriage.
However, an unidentified individual responding to the discussion alleged that GBM and his wife had separated following disagreements over family finances.
The individual claimed that while GBM was unwell, his wife and children shared more than K20 million, allegedly believing that he would not recover.
The source further alleged that disagreements arose after the businessman recovered and discovered what had happened.
Neither GBM nor his wife has been confirmed to have publicly responded to the financial allegations.
