’Genoa caused us more problems than Real Madrid’ – Gasperini takes another swipe at Mourinho’s Real Madrid
Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini has taken a dig at Real Madrid, claiming Genoa posed a greater tactical challenge than Jose Mourinho’s side.
Despite losing 4-3 at home to Madrid, as the Los Blancos scored three goals in 10 minutes to overturn Roma’s lead, Gasperini has been talking about Real Madrid.
Speaking after Roma’s 2-0 victory over Genoa, the Italian coach said: “Although Genoa perhaps don’t have Real Madrid’s star players technically, tactically they caused us more problems than Madrid.”
