GERMAN CHANCELLOR MERZ SAYS ISRAEL’S RIGHT TO EXIST IS ‘NON-NEGOTIABLE’

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has declared that Israel’s right to exist is “non-negotiable,” describing Israel as the Middle East’s only democracy.

Merz stressed that Germany would continue to defend and support Israel to ensure its security and continued existence. He made clear that Berlin is prepared to use military force in Israel’s defense if necessary.

The remarks underscore Germany’s strong commitment to standing alongside Israel, both politically and in matters of security.
