GERMANY DRAWS FROM ITS OWN STOCKS TO SEND PATRIOT MISSILES TO UKRAINE

Germany is reportedly drawing on its own military stocks to provide additional Patriot air-defense missiles to Ukraine, as Kyiv continues to face intensified Russian missile and drone attacks.

The move underscores Berlin’s efforts to strengthen Ukraine’s air-defense capabilities while Kyiv urgently seeks additional interceptors to protect its cities, critical infrastructure and military positions.

The decision also highlights the pressure on Germany’s own Patriot inventory, as continued support for Ukraine requires Berlin to balance Kyiv’s immediate battlefield needs with its own national air-defense requirements.

The additional missiles are expected to bolster Ukraine’s ability to intercept incoming ballistic and cruise missiles and other aerial threats.
