HACHIPABENDA MISSES OUT ON ECZ LIST OF VALIDLY NOMINATED CANDIDATES FOR MAGOYE WEST
Magoye West Constituency Independent Parliamentary Candidate Nsubula Hachipabeenda Misses Out on List of Validly Nominated Candidates
According to the Notice of Validly Nominated Parliamentary Candidates for 2026 released by the Electoral Commission of Zambia and signed by ECZ Public Relations Manager Patricia Luhanga, only UPND candidate Nachombe Kabunda and Independent candidate Michael Mwanamuchele are validly nominated candidates for Magoye West.
Hachipabeenda is alleged to have withdrawn from the race.
Earlier this week, Independent Candidate Nsubula Hachipabeenda maintained that his name would appear on the ballot papers.

Meanwhile, Socialist Party Mazabuka Central Candidate Denwid Masumba is on the list of validly nominated candidates.
However, Mazabuka District Electoral Officer Judith Mukwita Maambo clarified during a stakeholders meeting on Saturday morning that only the names of candidates who withdrew after ECZ had already printed the ballot papers may appear on the ballot paper.
