3. MY ADVICE TO OUR 20 INDEPENDENT MPs

Hon. Colleagues, your mandate is sacred. It came directly from the people, not from a party.

Therefore I urge you:
Do not enter into any alliance with the ruling party that can be used to amend the Constitution and remove the provision for Independents.

Our independence is our strength. The moment we surrender it, we give away the very reason Zambians voted for us — to be a free voice, to vote with conscience, and to put Zambia above party.

Let us caucus together, defend this space, and show Zambia that independent leadership works.

4. TO THE PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA

Thank you for trusting individuals. The rise from 10 in 1996 to 20 in 2026 shows that you are tired of politics as usual.
Continue to vote for leaders, not just parties. Continue to vote Independent.

God bless our 20 Independent Hon. MPs. God bless Zambia.

Rev. Dr. Given Katuta Mwelwa
First Independent Female Presidential Candidate, 2026.
Former Independent MP, Chienge 2021-2026
