HON. DANNY YENGA THANKS THE PEOPLE OF KABWATA FOR ELECTION VICTORY
Lusaka, Monday, August 17, 2026
I wish to thank the people of Kabwata for decisively electing me as your Member of Parliament. This victory is not for me or my family. It is for each and every resident of Kabwata.
I also wish to thank everyone who walked this path with me. The men, women, and youth who braved the cold, endured discomfort, slept on the floor, and stayed alert to protect the vote. I am truly grateful, and may God richly reward you all.
To the immediate past Member of Parliament, Mr. Tayengwa: Kabwata remains your home, and you have nothing to worry about. My doors are open to you.
On the campaign trail, I promised the people of Kabwata that together, we would build a constituency that is conducive for all residents. Today, I reiterate that promise to you.
I also signed a social contract with you, a performance-based contract. And I want to assure you that every promise I made to you will be fulfilled. Hold me accountable.
It is now time to go to work and bring development to the people of Kabwata. It is time for Kabwata to go back to its glory days.
