HOUTHI LEADER URGES TURKEY AND PAKISTAN NOT TO JOIN SAUDI WAR
The leader of Yemen’s Houthi movement has called on Turkey and Pakistan not to enter the conflict in support of Saudi Arabia.
He accused Riyadh of seeking to use Turkey and Pakistan in the war and urged both countries to avoid involvement in exchange for political or economic benefits from Saudi Arabia.
“Saudi Arabia is currently seeking to use Turkey and Pakistan in the war. I advise Turkey and Pakistan not to become involved in this matter while seeking political and economic gains from Saudi Arabia’s enemies,” he said, according to the statement
The Houthi leader also posed a question to Turkey, Pakistan and the Gulf states, asking whether they would accept Saudi Arabia interfering in their political decisions.
His remarks come amid heightened regional tensions and growing diplomatic efforts involving Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan.
