I SPOKE TOO SOON, PROPHET AMATA WITHDRAWS MUNDUBILE PROPHECY, PREDICTS HICHILEMA VICTORY.
Controversial Zion Deliverance and Prophetic Ministry founder Prophet Isaac Amata has dramatically withdrawn his earlier prophecy that NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile would win the 13th August 2026 General Election, saying he has since received what he describes as the complete revelation from God.
In a public statement, Prophet Amata apologised to the people of Zambia, President Hakainde Hichilema, and the United Party for National Development (UPND), admitting that his previous prophecy was premature because he had not received the full vision.
According to the cleric, after spending time in prayer and seeking further guidance from God, he was shown the complete vision, which he says revealed President Hichilema emerging victorious with a landslide margin.
Prophet Amata explained that the initial revelation only showed the early stages of the election, where Brian Mundubile appeared to be leading in two provinces.
However, he said the vision later unfolded to show the political momentum shifting in favour of the incumbent President, who ultimately won the election convincingly.
“I want to apologise to the people of Zambia for the prophecy I gave concerning Brian Mundubile. I spoke before I had received the complete revelation from God,” Prophet Amata said.
“After asking God to show me the full vision, I saw President Hakainde Hichilema winning the 2026 General Election by a landslide. What I had seen earlier was only part of the vision.”
The prophet said the experience had taught him an important lesson about exercising patience before making public prophetic declarations.
“I gave the prophecy too early because it was not conclusive. Going forward, I will not announce a prophecy until I have received the complete vision in the realm of the Spirit,” he added.
Prophet Amata has since appealed for forgiveness from President Hichilema, the UPND, and the Zambian people for any confusion or concern his earlier prophecy may have caused.
His reversal is likely to generate renewed public discussion as political campaigns intensify ahead of the August 2026 General Election.

As long as we have mostly illiterate voters, our destiny as a country will be determined by illiterates, yes, the ECZ raised the bar a bit on those seeking electoral office to Grade Twelve but without also raising the bar on voters we as a country are back to ZERO regarding electoral improvements.
Clearly the illiterate voters we have don’t know what they want, instead of asking a candidate what that candidate will do for them in terms of development, all they ask for is how much are you giving me.
I implore the next set of legislatures to ensure they pass a law to eliminate illiterate voters from voting so that the country can begin to see meaningful development through selection of the right candidates vetted by the right voters and not these mostly illiterate useless voters that we have now. To them campaign time is Christmas instead of a chance to have the right legislatures. That is why we end up with mostly useless politicians as well because all they do is pay their way through
