NEWS UPDATE: MAXWELL CHONGU RALLIES BEHIND NRPUP

Former Citizens First National Youth Chairperson Maxwell Chongu has thrown support behind NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu ahead of the August general election.

Chongu says he regrets joining the Tonse–Pamodzi Alliance late but now fully commits to the campaign, accusing Harry Kalaba of refusing to work with other opposition leaders, which he says influenced his decision to shift allegiance.

Makebi Zulu welcomed the endorsements, calling them a major boost for the alliance, and urged voters to rally behind their message of change while criticizing the current government’s performance as campaigns heat up.
