I WAS PAID TO INSULT PRESIDENT HICHILEMA, SAYS 32 YEAR-OLD WOMAN.
A 32 year old woman has been arrested by the Zambia Police Service for insulting President Hakainde Hichilema.
In a video circulating on social media, the woman is seen seated on the floor while being questioned by police officers about her alleged remarks against the Head of State
When asked why she insulted President Hichilema, the woman claims that she qwas paid to make the insulting remarks.
However, she does not disclose the identity of the person or individuals who paid her to carry out the act.

We need to put a stop to this barbaric behaviour. Honestly, how do you insult a head of state, or anybody for that matter, just because you differ on political issues?
What kind of people have we become? What are our values? Insults? Is this the new way of communicating?
We must deal with this scourge firmly, conclusively and expeditiously. It is shameful that we have sank so low as a society.
