UPND National Youth Chairperson Liswaniso Gilbert has questioned why presidential term limits should apply to President Hakainde Hichilema when council chairpersons and Members of Parliament have no term limits.
Speaking on Crown TV, Liswaniso said he supports the removal of presidential term limits if doing so would be in the best interests of Zambia.
“If council chairpersons and Members of Parliament have no term limits, why impose term limits on President HH only? Yes, I support removal of term limits if that’s good for the country,” Liswaniso said.
Stop this NONSENSE…We voted for HH but we oppose the removal of term limits…2 terms is enough.Infact term limits should be extended to MPs and councillors…..Ba Liswaniso…stop this NONSENSE
