IF I WAS IN LUNGU’S POSITION I WOULD DO THE SAME
If I was in Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu’s position I would have done exactly what he has done today – jump into the ring and fight.
No decent person can allow a political party that made him President be annihilated in such a crooked, mendacious way.
No sensible person can sit on his or her laurels and watch the country that gave him or her everything – the highest honour of being President – being destroyed by the most intolerant, corrupt, unpatriotic and tribalistic puppets.
A person who abides by unjust laws and practices, and permits another person to trample, divide and mistreat the people and the country in which he or she was born, is not an honourable person.
It is understandable that honest people should be constantly in police cells or prisons in a Republic where the President is an intolerant, cruel, vengeful and corrupt puppet.
In this case, there’s no sensible alternative for Mr Lungu but to abandon the benefits and privileges of a retired President and join the struggle for a more just, fair and more humane homeland.
The intolerance, cruelty, tribalism, vengefulness and other repugnant tendencies of this corrupt puppet regime cannot be allowed to continue in this country.
It’s time to put a stop to this infantile excitement and approach to national leadership. As the late Micheal Chilufya Sata (MHSRIP) used to say,”Lesa alileka, ukupanga ifyalo” and so we only have one country, which we must all defend and protect against reckless attempts to destroy our hard earned democracy and reduce us to a dust bin case.

Look at the advice he is giving Lungu. Honestly this guy hates Lungu to the core down his heart. He wants him to be completely destroyed like what Lungu did his post newspaper. Happy for the circumstance happening to Lungu as a sweet revenge. M’membe is is the most cunning, vicious and revengeful goon saying opposite of what he means. Too late, too little for Lungu.

Dr. M’membe’s sympathy towards PF is out of self interest. He is positioning himself to reap maximum benefits from the confusion in the PF camp.
He is creating goodwill for himself and his party by being seen to be sympathizing with the PF. When the PF finally disintegrates into a thousand pieces, Dr. M’membe will pick up some of these pieces and grow his party. Already he has acquired the former PF media director, Antonio Mwanza and former PF Chairman for Lusaka, Mr. Moonga, though he lost Mr. Frank Bwalya.
Dr. M’membe is also not sincere in his description of the current government as the most intolerant, corrupt, tribalist and unpatriotic. If we have to be fair, PF takes the prize in all these areas. I still remember how Dr. M’membe, his wife and Mr. Mwenda, the former Post editor in chief, were made to sit on the road when police raided his home. How the PF government totally ignored the ruling of the Tax Tribunal to return the Post assets and went ahead to liquidate it. Nothing of this sort has happened to Dr. M’membe under this government.
Dr. M’membe is just pretending. Given the chance, he would hold the perpetrators of these injustices to account and rightly so. PF and its leaders must be held to account for their crimes. It is not vengeance.
Even HH would do exactly the same. As M’membe puts it “No decent person can allow a political party that made him President be annihilated in such a crooked, mendacious way.”
Idiots will remain idiots regardless of the titles and ambitions.
