Lukashenko Mocks US Power: America Is a Superpower, Not a Super Force

Belarus dictator Alexander Lukashenko took a swing at American strength after President Trump’s swift Iran deal, claiming the United States got exposed as all talk and limited muscle.

In a fresh interview, Lukashenko declared that Trump “has shown the whole world that your United States of America is not all-powerful.” He added bluntly: “In terms of power, the USA is a superpower, but not a super force.”

Lukashenko pointed to the rapid US-brokered agreement with Iran—suspending the nuclear program, reopening the Strait of Hormuz for oil flows, and locking in an Israel-Lebanon ceasefire—as proof America hit its limits.

He warned: “If the Americans couldn’t handle Iran, then they should not mess with China. They will never be able to deal with that kind of power.”

The Belarus strongman, long propped up by Russia, framed the outcome as a reality check for Washington. While Trump delivered concrete results—ending Iran’s nuclear threat, securing shipping lanes, and halting wider fighting—Lukashenko spun restraint and diplomacy as weakness.

This comes as Trump has eased some sanctions on Belarus and floated better ties, yet Lukashenko still talks tough for his domestic audience and anti-American allies.
