Impunity and Corruption at Ministry of Lands remain a source of worry
● Man selling Lusaka Play Parks and has “Legal” title deeds to the Land!
The corrupt happenings at Ministry of Lands require drastic actions.
President Levy Mwanawasa is the only President who took drastic actions against the corrupt elite at the Ministry.
The cartel steal your land or property by fraudulently issuing “legitimate” title deeds to fellow crooks and proceed to sell your property.
It will take you years and a huge legal bill for you to recover or redress the theft and injury to your own property.
Both public and private property are prime targets.
Many victims give up.
The cartel stealing land and property is sophisticated, and consists of party cadres( they just change parties to current ruling party), lawyers, estate agents and Ministry of Lands officials.
Take for instance this case.
The Anti-Corruption Commission is investigating a serious matter where a person identified as Gift Kaoma has illegally obtained title deeds for the Lusaka City’s public amenities and put them for sale.
To this effect, the Lusaka City Council has reported the matter to Law Enforcement Agencies.
Kaoma was in possession of forged recommendation offer letters dated 19th August 2021 in which it is purported that the Planning and Information Management System Committee of the Lusaka City Council sat on 20th May 2020 and proceeded to allocate and offer Gift Kaoma the playparks.
Using forged documents Kaoma proceeded to obtain title deeds for the public property and put the properties for sale.
