Investigative Journalist Romain Molina has made several allegations involving FIFA and the Argentine Football Association.

• FIFA allegedly closed an investigation into former Argentina women’s youth coach Diego Guachi despite sexual abuse allegations from five players, citing a lack of evidence.

• FIFA allegedly sent Argentina’s 2022 World Cup prize money to a Miami-based company instead of the AFA. The company is reportedly under FBI investigation for alleged fraud and money laundering.

• Molina claims senior FIFA officials have close ties with South American football leaders, giving CONMEBOL significant influence in recent years.

• He also claims there is a culture of impunity among some South American football officials following the FIFA Gate scandal.

• Following these allegations, members of the European Parliament have called for an investigation into FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
