Iran army commander says US misjudged Iran’s military
Iran’s army chief of staff and deputy commander, Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, said on Friday the United States was unable to comprehend the strength of Iran’s armed forces.
“The power of Iran’s armed forces is beyond the Americans’ ability to believe or comprehend,” Sayyari said, according to state media.
He said Iranians had become “even stronger and more resolute than before” in resisting their enemies and that surrender “has no place in the military or cultural doctrine of the Iranian people.”
Sayyari also said public support for Iran’s armed forces showed the United States had made a “miscalculation.”
Iran has won the war with the USA.
