IRAN CLAIMS “DEVASTATING” MISSILE STRIKES ON U.S. FORCES IN JORDAN
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it launched a massive barrage of ballistic missiles overnight against U.S. forces stationed at Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan.
According to an IRGC statement, the strikes targeted and heavily damaged key military infrastructure, including maintenance hangars, aircraft shelters for F-15, F-16 and F-35 fighter jets, and air-defense systems.
The IRGC described the operation as a direct retaliation for recent U.S. attacks on Iranian oil tankers.
The claims have not been independently verified, and the extent of any damage or casualties remains unclear.
