Iran Claims It Has Shot Down a Fourth U.S. MQ-9 Drone
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has shot down another U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone, which would make it the fourth MQ-9 reportedly downed by Iran since last night, according to the claim.
The MQ-9 Reaper is an advanced unmanned aircraft widely used by the U.S. for intelligence, surveillance and precision-strike missions. The aircraft is commonly estimated to cost tens of millions of dollars, depending on configuration and associated equipment.
