IRAN EXPLAINS WHY NO PHOTOS OF MOJTABA KHAMENEI HAVE BEEN RELEASED
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has explained why the government has not yet released photographs or public speeches by Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
Araghchi said the decision was driven by security concerns, noting that Iran’s leadership faces assassination threats and that strict security measures have therefore been put in place to protect senior officials.
He did not provide a timeline for when Mojtaba Khamenei might make a public appearance or deliver a televised address.
