Speaking to reporters, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said messages continue to be exchanged between Tehran and Washington through intermediaries, adding that mediators are actively working to facilitate communication and reduce obstacles between the two sides.
Baghaei did not disclose which countries are serving as intermediaries or provide details about the content of the messages. However, his remarks suggest that backchannel diplomacy remains active even as both sides continue to disagree on a range of regional and security issues
