Iran has intensified military preparations over the past three days as the United States rapidly expands its military presence across the Middle East.
Iranian commanders are reviewing plans for a stronger response if Washington resumes large-scale attacks, including the possibility of expanding potential targets beyond U.S. assets in the region.
Iran has also instructed allied groups in Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq to prepare for a coordinated response in the event of a renewed U.S. offensive, according to reports citing Iranian officials
At the same time, Iranian military officials have highlighted advances in long-range ballistic missile capabilities, including the claimed ability to strike moving targets.
A senior Iranian delegation linked to Tehran’s leadership also traveled to southern Lebanon on October 1, adding to signs of increased coordination with regional partners.
The developments come as additional U.S. aircraft carriers, Marines and other military assets move toward the Middle East, creating a parallel buildup on both sides.
