🇮🇷 Iran just responded to the U.S. ceasefire proposal. It rejected the 45-day temporary deal and sent back a list of its own.

Here is what Tehran is asking for:

— A permanent end to the war, not just in Iran but in Lebanon and Gaza too, with guarantees it won’t restart.

— Recognition of Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz, with the right to collect tolls from passing ships.

— Full lifting of all economic sanctions

— The right to enrich uranium under the NPT, acknowledged in writing.

— Reparations for economic damages caused by the war

The U.S. offered 45 days. Iran came back with a peace treaty, a toll booth, and a bill.
