Iran Launches New Missile and Drone Attacks Across Region

Iran launched a new wave of missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. military facilities and assets across Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq, following the latest U.S. strikes on Iranian military targets.

Iranian forces said their operations targeted U.S.-linked facilities, including the Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain and military positions in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, as well as U.S. facilities in Kuwait and Jordan.

Bahrain and Kuwait reported intercepting incoming Iranian drones, while Jordan said its air defenses also engaged Iranian missiles. Reports from Iraq indicated that Iranian attacks targeted areas hosting U.S. personnel and military infrastructure.

The latest exchange represents a significant escalation across the region, with several countries placing their air-defense systems on heightened alert.

The extent of damage from the latest attacks remains under assessment, while competing claims from Iran and regional authorities have not been independently verified.
