Iran Moves Missiles and Drones Into Underground Facilities
Iran is reportedly accelerating efforts to relocate ballistic missiles, drones and other military equipment into underground tunnels and hardened facilities beneath the Zagros Mountains.
The reported move includes missile systems such as the Kheibar Shekan and Haj Qassem, as Tehran seeks to reduce the visibility of its strategic weapons and protect them from potential aerial surveillance or strikes.
The underground network, often described as Iran’s “Underground Missile Cities,” forms a key part of the country’s strategy to conceal and preserve its missile capabilities.
