IRAN REPORTEDLY SEEKS TO REVERSE-ENGINEER U.S. JASSM STEALTH MISSILE — TABNAK
🔴 Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reportedly recovered an AGM-158 JASSM stealth cruise missile that was found largely intact during the war, according to Iranian outlet Tabnak.
🔴 The IRGC reportedly recovered undamaged or minimally damaged components and equipment from the missile and transferred them to Iranian research and technical teams for detailed analysis.
🚨 According to the report, Iranian specialists are now expected to study the missile’s design, technology, and manufacturing methods in a possible effort to reverse-engineer elements of the U.S.-made weapon.
The AGM-158 JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile) is a long-range, low-observable cruise missile designed to evade radar detection and strike heavily defended targets.
