Iran says it targeted King Faisal and Prince Hassan air bases in Jordan
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said on Wednesday they targeted the King Faisal and Prince Hassan air bases in Jordan, where US forces have operated, saying they struck facilities used to prepare F-15 fighter jets and MQ-9 drones.
The Guards said they hit “an F-15 preparation hangar” and “a drone preparation hangar,” where “eight brand-new MQ-9 drones still in their packaging were completely destroyed before assembly,” while “two others outside the hangar sustained heavy damage.”
They also said an attack on a helicopter hangar caused “major damage to two heavy US helicopters” and that “a number” of US personnel were killed and wounded in a strike on an accommodation facility.
