IRAN SAYS US SANCTIONS ARE NOW JUST PURE PARODY
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman has mocked Washington’s latest sanctions push. He said the policy has reached pure parody.
Esmaeil Baqaei said the US is turning to Bahrain to prove its coalition is working. Bahrain has virtually no economic exchange with Iran.
He said America is sanctioning the already sanctioned and calling the empty space a coalition.
The comments came after US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced Operation Economic Outcast. He called it economic D-day.
Washington wants to sever every economic lifeline sustaining Iran. Tehran says the lifelines were already cut.
The US is announcing sanctions on countries that do not trade with Iran. It is stopping exchanges that were already stopped. It is calling an empty room a coalition.
Trump said the war would last four to five weeks. It is now six months. He said he is not in a hurry.
