Iran Sends Warning to U.S.: “Pressure and Threats Will Not Change Our Position”
Iranian Parliament Speaker has issued a strong message toward the United States, saying that the era of using pressure and displays of power against Iran has ended.
Ghalibaf said Iran is prepared to defend itself against any threat, stressing that military attacks or increased pressure will not force Tehran to change its policies.
“What America fails to understand is that the time to show us power and pressure is already over,” Ghalibaf said, adding that Iran has the capability to protect itself and that Washington cannot achieve its objectives through attacks.
The statement comes amid rising tensions in the Middle East, as regional violence continues and international calls grow for de-escalation and a return to diplomatic channels.
Analysts say such statements could either deepen confrontation between Tehran and Washington or create pressure for both sides to seek renewed negotiations.
