Iran Warns War Could Expand if U.S. Resumes Strikes
Iran’s military has warned that the conflict could spread beyond its current scope if the United States resumes military operations or joins Israel in launching new airstrikes against Iranian territory.
In a televised statement, an Iranian military spokesperson said Tehran would respond to any renewed attacks with broader military action, warning that the geographic scope of the conflict would expand.
The warning comes ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned visit to Washington for talks with U.S. President Donald Trump, as regional tensions remain high.
