Iranian Exiled Opposition Figure Reza Pahlavi Calls for Overthrow of Islamic Republic, Vows a “Free and Prosperous Iran” 🇮🇷
Iranian opposition figure Reza Pahlavi has called for the overthrow of the Islamic Republic, saying his objective is to establish a “free and prosperous Iran.”
Speaking at an event in Canada 🇨🇦, Pahlavi accused Iran’s current government of committing “one of the greatest crimes in history,” while claiming that the regime had already faced a critical situation on January 8 and 9.
🗣️ “Today, we are more experienced and more determined than ever. Our goal is clear: to overthrow the Islamic Republic and achieve a free and prosperous Iran,” Pahlavi said.
He said his vision for Iran is based on four principles: territorial integrity, separation of religion and state, individual freedoms, and equality before the law.
Pahlavi also said Iran’s future government should ultimately be chosen by the people through a free and fair vote.
