IRANIAN LAWMAKER WARNS GULF STATES OVER U.S. MILITARY AIRCRAFT

Iranian parliamentarian Ebrahim Rezaei, a member of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, has issued a warning to Gulf states hosting U.S. military assets.

Rezaei claimed that U.S. fighter jets and aerial refueling aircraft are currently stationed at airbases in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and other locations across the region.

“It has been reported that enemy U.S. fighter jets and tanker aircraft are stationed at airbases in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and elsewhere.”

Rezaei further warned the countries hosting the U.S. military presence that they could face consequences if their territory is used for operations against Iran.

“These countries are turning their homes into fortresses for the American enemy. Therefore, they should not complain later.”

The comments come amid heightened tensions between Iran, the United States and Israel, with U.S. military forces maintaining a significant presence across the Gulf.

Rezaei’s remarks signal Tehran’s continued warning that countries allowing their territory or military facilities to be used by U.S. forces could potentially become involved in any future escalation.

The warning adds to growing concerns that a wider conflict could place U.S. military facilities and their host countries across the Gulf under increased pressure.
