BREAKING: Iran’s Foreign Minister Says Tehran Will Not Be Intimidated by U.S. Threats
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has declared that Iran will not bow to pressure or threats from the United States, insisting that the country is fundamentally different from nations that can be coerced through intimidation.
Speaking amid heightened regional tensions, Araghchi said:
“This is not Venezuela, where one person can be arrested and everyone else becomes afraid and backs down.”
The foreign minister’s remarks were aimed at rejecting what Tehran views as Washington’s policy of pressure and deterrence. He stressed that Iran remains determined to defend its sovereignty and national interests despite escalating military and diplomatic tensions.
Araghchi’s statement comes as the confrontation between Iran and the United States continues to intensify, with both sides exchanging strong rhetoric alongside a series of military incidents across the Gulf region.
