IRIS KAINGU SAYS HICHILEMA’S ECONOMIC GAINS USELESS IF ZAMBIANS ARE STILL SUFFERING
MWANDI independent aspiring candidate Iris Kaingu has criticized President Hakainde Hichilema’s recent remarks about her, saying Hichilema’s economic achievements are meaningless if ordinary Zambians continue to struggle
Speaking during a livestream to her more than 350,000 followers, Kaingu questioned why the President focused on her while addressing people in Western Province instead of discussing the region’s development challenges.
She argued that despite the province’s support for him in previous elections, it has seen little development and Mwandi is in a crisis.
Kaingu also questioned why the President declined to adopt her politically while accepting other former Patriotic Front (PF) members into his camp.
“Mwandi is in a dire state, but you came here to talk about me. We expected you to address the unfulfilled promises you made in 2021,” she said.
She maintained that indicators such as single-digit inflation are useless if they do not improve the lives of ordinary Zambians, saying many citizens are still facing economic hardship.
I will not give up untill we fight for the people of Mwandi said Iris.
Kaingu has further urged all Mwandi residents to vote for her on 13 August to save Mwandi.

These are the instant gratification misleaders we don’t need.
Even in our own homes, if 90% of the earnings of the breadwinner go towards servicing a kaloba, you don’t expect to eat chicken every day. You will be eating soya pieces and cabbage until the day that the entire kaloba is paid off.
Before citizens start feeling the effects of responsible fiscal management and financial discipline, the length of the recovery period after a decade of reckless borrowing, default on sovereign loans, and gifting children 69 vehicles and 23 properties, slay queens found in possession of 21 travelling bags full of over 65 million cash, the recovery period will obviously take time.
The current government is on a good recovery track and we can not risk blowing away this progress by handing power to the same gang who messed up.
Get a life. Get a job. Go back to school. Tantameni politics does not work anymore.
Well said
