ISRAEL BANS UK-BASED AID GROUPS FROM OPERATING IN THE OCCUPIED PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES

Israel has reportedly banned several UK-based humanitarian organizations  Oxfam, Save the Children, and Islamic Relief  from operating in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Israeli authorities said the move is part of a broader response to measures imposed by the United Kingdom against Israeli goods.

Critics argue that the decision could further increase pressure on Palestinians in the West Bank, where communities are already facing severe humanitarian and security challenges, including violence and displacement linked to Israeli settlements.

What do these organizations do?

🔹 Oxfam: Works to tackle poverty, inequality and injustice around the world.

🔹 Save the Children: Focuses on protecting children’s rights and providing assistance to children affected by conflict and humanitarian crises.

🔹 Islamic Relief: Provides humanitarian assistance to people in need, including food, clean water, clothing, shelter and medical aid.
