Report: Israel Believes Iran Moved Nuclear Equipment Into ‘Pickaxe Mountain’ Site

Israeli officials reportedly believe Iran transferred nuclear-related equipment into the underground “Pickaxe Mountain” facility near Natanz last year, according to media reports citing Israeli assessments

The site, located about 2 kilometers south of the Natanz nuclear complex, is believed to consist of deep underground tunnels constructed after the 2020 attack on Natanz. Security analysts have long assessed that the facility is designed to better protect sensitive nuclear infrastructure from potential airstrikes

According to the report, Israeli intelligence believes centrifuges and other nuclear-related equipment may have been relocated to the underground complex. However, no public evidence has been released to confirm the claim.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has not publicly verified the reported transfer, and Iran has not officially commented on the latest allegations.
