ISRAELI DEFENCE MINISTER: GAZA’S ENTIRE POPULATION COULD BE RELOCATED WITHIN SEVEN YEARS
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has reportedly said that plans could see Gaza’s population of around 2 million people relocated over a period of seven years.
Speaking during an election campaign event ahead of Israel’s expected October elections, Katz reportedly claimed that seven countries were prepared to receive Palestinians from Gaza, but said the plan was awaiting approval from the United States.
According to the proposal, approximately 250,000 Gazans would be relocated each year.
⚠️ The reported remarks are likely to trigger major international controversy, with the forced displacement of civilian populations raising serious legal and humanitarian concerns.
The situation remains highly sensitive, and independent confirmation of the full details of the reported plan is essential.
