“I wish to confirm the public that the engagement between Government of the Republic of Zambia and Barotseland Royal Establishment commenced on 9th – 11th March, 2024 in Livingstone as reported Barotseland Watchdog” BRE statement reads.
Finally, it looks like we are gathering enough political will to resolve the Barotseland issue.
Both sides must come to the table with open minds and a spirit of give and take. Dialogue is the answer. There is no need to draw swords.
These are the kind of things that can not be verified. Of course there will be no comment from the Zambian side because we all know what the official position is – one Zambia, one nation.
The disclosure of what is supposed to be secret renders it no longer secret.
You can not discuss the future of an entire nation in secret. This chap is telling lies.
