A clever journalist can easily verify this with hospital authorities and local leadership. This is a very serious statement and journalistic statement can suffice.

This is a very simple problem, you could be complaining when the solution is already there. Just talk to the CDF Committee, they will release funds to repair the malfunctioning gen sets at Mansa Gen Hospital and the problem will be resolved. Also try advice Hospital Authorities and the Council to expedite the disposal of those bodies so they don’t reach decomposing stages especially those which are not claimed. Load shedding is not man made, it’s a natural problem and is not only in Mansa but countrywide.

Some of us we know will speak against any injustice to anyone, Senior Citizen now employed in Ministry of Education as director , would agree with me that, despite of not affiliated to UPND , we supported and campaigned for HH and UPND . Our contribution on lusakatimes, Tumfweko, post newspaper, mast will truly show the campaign we did not because we wanted to have a position.
The Catholic Church that you are insulting, you are insulting more 13/ 15 million people . This is the same Catholic Church that was you should , protector and your solace . Your own top leadership praised and respected the Catholic faith for standing up for the poor, marginalised, handicapped, voiceless, vulnerable and persecuted by those who were entrusted with their power . Today continue with your perilously ignorance, lack of empathy, humility by failing to use the power that you possess with restraint and humility. This statement from the catholic priest is half baked. This priest is not telling us if he complained to relevant authorities about this problem and they just ignored or insulted him. Surely this is not how a serious priest should conduct himself. He comes out as if there is a huge problem which cannot be solved. What ulterior motive does this priest have by issuing this statement??

Aikona. If you cannot see that some, not all, of these priests are trying desperately hard to amplify negatives to steer public revolt, then you are blind. It is their right to want to bring back the regime that shared plundered resources with them. But shame on you,their flock ,that fail to call them out for blanketing their selfish ambitions under the name of your church. Religion is truly opium for the poor.
