BREAKING: LUBINDA: “I’VE NEVER RUN AWAY FROM THE IDEA OF BECOMING PRESIDENT”

Former PF Vice-President Given Lubinda has declared that he is still open to leading Zambia, saying he would accept the responsibility if Zambians choose to give him their mandate.

Lubinda says his ambition to become Republican President is not something he has abandoned, adding that he is prepared to put his experience and skills to work for the country

He has also raised concerns over the detention of Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu, questioning the legality of keeping suspects in custody without taking them to court.

Lubinda has further demanded answers over the death of former Cabinet Minister Mutotwe Kafwaya, saying Government owes Zambians an explanation.

  1. Unfortunately age will not be on his side. The dynamics of Zambian politics have evolved, one should start early enough to think of becoming president. Expect to be bruised at least two times at which time Lubinda will be advancing towards 80s.

  2. You were substantive Vice President in the PF which had presented the best opportunity but did not hail from the Northern or Eastern block. Now, the chances are very slim to be President unless you form your own party and work hard. Not social media talk.
