Business tycoon James Ndambo’s family have refuted media reports suggesting that the Zambian government had prevented his company from running the Kasumbalesa border post .
Media allegations have accused Mr. Ndambo of making illicit profits at the said border post .
But family representative Mr. Fortune Ndambo has told Smart Eagles that Mr. Ndambo ha no connection with the said transactions.
“Mr James Ndambo had no relationship or connection with Zambia IP Border Crossing Company (ZIpBCC) nor was there a contract or concession indirectly or directly with ZRA at Kasumbalesa border post.” He said .
He added that it has been a public knowledge over the past 12 years that a Jewish company operated the contract in topic.
Mr James Ndambo is a Zambian born business tycoon based in the Republic of South Africa.

Mr. James Ndambo never had a contract with Zambia Revenue Authority in Kasumbalesa.
The Ndambo family is flabbergasted by media reports published by some overzealous malicious online publication dated 2nd March 2023 purporting that Zambian government had stopped Mr. James Ndambo through his company from running the Zambia Kasumbalesa border post where it’s alleged, he was making illicit profits, without defining the licit profits that presumably the publisher’s company if any, makes.
The family would rather the publisher confronts Mr Ndambo at a personal level if he has contentious issues to address as opposed to hiding behind non-existent contracts purely to attract public attention.
The moment you refer to someone as hurting the Zambians via illicit profits, why not channel such to institutions tasked to police such errant business houses or individuals?
Mr. James Ndambo had no relationship or connection with Zambia IP Border Crossing Company (ZipBCC) nor was there a contract or concession indirectly or directly with ZRA at Kasumbalesa border post. It has been public knowledge over the past 12 years that a Jewish company operated the contract in topic.
This kind of reporting is highly regrettable, and one would have expected a responsible online publication to carryout due diligence before publishing such falsities.
It’s sad that Mr. Ndambo’s character is being assassinated over issues that he absolutely has no connection with. Mr. Ndambo is a family man and coming from a very large family [Church and NGO included] such that whenever such lies circulate, it’s not only him who gets negatively impacted, but the entire extended family.
We are cognizance of the fact that Zambia is a democratic country where one can express his or her views and ideas freely. Let us enjoy this freedom and use it to share accurate information, positive thoughts and ideas instead of trying to destroy reputation and lives of others who have painstakingly labored to build their legacy spanning over decades.
