JD VANCE MAKES UNUSUAL PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ISRAEL, IRAN WAR DEBATE AND EPSTEIN FILES
U.S. Vice President JD Vance has made unusually direct public remarks on several sensitive issues that many American officials have traditionally avoided discussing openly.
Speaking about the ongoing debate over U.S. policy toward Iran, Vance said there were concerns that some individuals connected to Israeli political circles were attempting to influence American public opinion in order to prolong the conflict with Iran.
“There is no doubt that there are people within the Israeli system who are trying to shape public opinion in the United States in order to continue the war with Iran indefinitely,” Vance said.
The comments sparked attention because they touched on a politically sensitive issue involving the relationship between U.S. foreign policy and Israel, a topic that is often debated but rarely addressed so directly by senior American officials.
Vance also drew attention by speaking about the controversy surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein files, criticizing what he described as a lack of sufficient transparency from the Trump administration regarding the release and handling of documents connected to the case.
When asked about claims circulating online that Epstein may have had links to foreign intelligence agencies, including Israel’s Mossad, Vance responded:
“Yes, Mossad or CIA or another intelligence agency.”
He further claimed that Epstein had connections with powerful figures in intelligence circles, saying:
“He clearly had relationships with the highest levels of U.S. intelligence. He also clearly had relationships with the highest levels of Israeli intelligence.”
The remarks have generated controversy, with supporters arguing that Vance is calling for greater transparency, while critics have questioned the evidence behind some of the claims and warned against spreading unverified allegations.
No public evidence has established that Epstein worked for Mossad, the CIA, or any intelligence agency. Authorities and investigators have previously documented Epstein’s extensive network of influential contacts, but the nature of any intelligence connections remains a matter of speculation and debate.
