Jito Kayumba Calls For Unity And Inclusivity After Elections
Finance and Investment Advisor to the President, Jito Kayumba, has called for unity among Zambians following the general elections.
In a statement, Mr. Kayumba thanked citizens who voted for President Hakainde Hichilema and extended sympathies to those who supported other candidates.
“As an administration appointed by President Hakainde Hichilema, we believe we must embrace all citizens. No one should feel like an outcast or discriminated against for any reason,” he said.
Mr. Kayumba urged supporters of the President not to ridicule those who voted for other candidates, adding that President Hichilema believes in national unity and inclusive development.
He further stated that his office will remain open to all Zambians regardless of their political choices.
“We are extending a hand of family to you because you are part of the Zambian story,” he said.
