KALABA APPEALS TO MUTINTA HICHILEMA TO INTERVENE ON MUNDUBILE TREASON CASE
Citizens First president Harry Kalaba has appealed to First Lady Mutinta Hichilema to help resolve the treason case involving NRPUP leaders Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu.
According to News Diggers, Kalaba says Mutinta, as President Hakainde Hichilema’s “first advisor,” can help find a solution to the matter.
Kalaba has also declined to congratulate President Hichilema on his re-election, arguing that the 2026 election was compromised.

Mr. Kalaba, diplomacy requires you to do things in a certain way. You can’t decline to congratulate HH and expect the first lady to exert influence on her husband and expect a favourable and positive outcome. Wait for the court processes to be completed in that case, only then a pardon can be thought of.

Kalaba now kusabaila chabe. Why are you so concerned? Even then why not push for case to be heard in court, instead you want resolution out of court. No please let the due process take place.
