🇿🇲 BRIEFING | Kambwili Says PF’s Biggest Failure Was Caderism, Not Development
Tonse-Pamodzi Alliance campaigner and Roan aspiring parliamentary candidate Chishimba Kambwili has defended the Patriotic Front’s record in government, arguing that the party’s greatest failing was caderism rather than development.
Addressing supporters at a campaign rally in Luapula Province, Kambwili said the PF delivered major infrastructure and development projects but admitted that political caderism tarnished the party’s public image.
“The PF government delivered. The only issue it had was caderism,” Kambwili said.
He told supporters that Tonse-Pamodzi Alliance presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has assured Zambians that caderism would not return under his leadership, describing the alliance as one committed to development while avoiding the excesses associated with political cadres.
The remarks add to the alliance’s broader campaign message of defending the PF’s development record while acknowledging mistakes that contributed to its defeat in the 2021 General Election.
