KATELE KALUMBA VOWS NOT TO FEAR HH
Former MMD member Katele Kalumba has launched a scathing attack on President Hakainde Hichilema, accusing him of failing to protect Zambians and alleging that his administration is using arrests and abductions to gain an electoral advantage.
Kalumba said he was once close to both Hichilema and former President Edgar Lungu, and recalled how he sacrificed his business and defended Hichilema during difficult times.
I thank you for the good things that you did to me, and I thank you for the good things that I did for you.
Kalumba said that, at the time, he believed Hichilema was a good leader, but that his perception had since changed to be evil.
He accused Hichilema of pretending to be a good person while allegedly engaging in actions he described as unacceptable, including what he claimed were arrests, abductions and killings ahead of the election.
Kalumba further reminded Hichilema that he had stood by him in 2015, saying his family business was shut down as he defended the then opposition leader.
“All my sacrifices went in vain,” Kalumba said, accusing Hichilema of betraying the trust he once placed in him.
