KAUNDA HAILS LIMA FILM PROJECT FEATURING KANAYO O. KANAYO
NRPUP Lima Constituency aspiring Member of Parliament Kelvin Kaunda has praised young filmmaker Cosmas Ngandwe, popularly known as Logic, for directing a film project featuring legendary Nigerian actor Kanayo O. Kanayo.
Kaunda said he was delighted to have been invited to the production, describing the participation of the Nigerian actor and lawyer as evidence of Zambia’s growing creative industry.
He said leaders had a responsibility to support young people pursuing productive ventures, innovation and entrepreneurship through sectors such as film and the creative arts.
“The creative arts industry has the power to create jobs, inspire communities, preserve our culture, and place our constituency on both the national and international stage,” Kaunda said.
He congratulated Logic and the production team, saying the project could inspire other young people in Lima Constituency to pursue their ambitions.
“Together, we will continue to support initiatives that empower our youth and unlock their full potential,” he said.
