KCM Pays Courtesy Call on President Hichilema, Presents Commemorative Copper Plaque
Konkola Copper Mines Plc (KCM), in partnership with CopperTech Metals, has paid a courtesy call on His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema to congratulate him on his inauguration following the August 13 General Elections.
The delegation was led by Mr. Pushpender Singla, newly appointed President Strategy and Growth for KCM and CopperTech Metals, who presented the President with a specially crafted commemorative copper plaque.
The plaque recognises the President’s leadership and vision for Zambia’s mining sector, including the national ambition to achieve 3 million tonnes of copper production, while carrying the message: Jobs. Community. Opportunity. For a Prosperous and United Zambia
The engagement reaffirms KCM’s commitment to partnering with Government to support national development, create jobs, empower communities and contribute to the sustainable growth of Zambia’s mining sector.
