Khama Was Even Being Moderate To Call President HH a African Newest Dictator- Kasonde Mwenda

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) President Kasonde Mwenda has said former Botswana President Ian Khama was even being moderate when he described President Hakahinde Hichileme a “newest African dictator.” claiming that people here in Zambia already know He is a dictator.
Mr Mwenda made the remarks when he appeared on Millennium TV last night.
He argued that those living in Zambia have firsthand experience of the country’s political environment and how the opposition is being treated.
He cited the closure of courts during the presidential petition period, saying this raised serious questions about access to justice and the protection of constitutional rights.
Mr Mwenda also pointed to the arrests of opposition figures, some of whom have been charged with treason, questioning why certain cases have taken so long to be taken to court.
He further expressed concern over the number of opposition members Parliament who have been arrested, arguing that such developments raise questions about the state of democracy, freedom of expression and political participation in Zambia.
